Though I was compensated for my time and commitment, all views, positive and negative, are my own. That was an eye opener! No wonder why I struggle to lose weight. I need something to keep me accountable so here is my goal. I can do it. When this opportunity came along I knew it was waiting for me. I know I can do it because I have before.

Happy Sunday all! I have been anxiously awaiting this years update because I knew it involved a spin on Simply Filling with the new Weight Watchers Simple Start Program. There are so many cool things about Simple Start including a new Weight Watchers Simple Start Mobile App that actually works great dare I say better than the original app. Before I jump into sharing my thoughts, I want to say, nothing is changing about the Weight Watchers Program in The Kick Start Program was a one week pre-planned menu tailored towards those counting points, while Simple Start is a two week plan geared toward those who want to venture out, learn more and try the Simply Filling Technique.

I shopped for both of us and divided everything since neither of our families will eat healthy with us! We decided to make it super simple and just choose a couple of breakfasts and lunches to rotate since we both work full time, have kids, and help take care of our families. Breakfasts for the week: Scrambled egg with ff cheese on light English muffin with piece of fruit or Veggie omelet with light whole wheat toast and fruit Lunches: Veggie burger on sandwich thin or turkey and ff cheese on sandwich thin with cup of WW Mexican veggie soup recipe in Simple Start booklet - ask if you'd like it side of carrots and hummus using 3 of 7 daily points or RF wheat thins and guacamole using 5 of 7 daily points Dinners: Shrimp and veggie stir fry over brown rice Chicken breast with green veggies and garlic roasted potatoes Morningstar Farms chik'n patty on sandwich thin with baked "fries", veggie Chicken and veggies with whole wheat pasta Lentils with bulgur and side of veggies Snacks: fruit, air popped popcorn, veggies and dip If you want to know more about the Simple Start plan, you can read about it here: danicasdaily. I did that for several months and had great success but I was getting bored with it. I was eating the same thing each day that consisted of eggs, cheeses, salads and fish. I still need to lose 18 lbs. I found Simple Start by Weight Watchers. It is 2 week starter program where you follow the meal plan already provided for you by Weight Watchers. You can mix or match the meals that are already provided online for you. After the 2 weeks are over you can then continue on to the Weight Watchers program by following it online or attending Weight Watchers meetings and then you will start keeping track of your points.
